What is WFT

The phenomenon comes first We start with something you already recognise — an oddly specific feeling, habit or moment. You know it before you have a name for it.
The word is the payoff Then the reveal: it turns out there is a word for that. Short, precise, and more interesting than the thing it describes — or we skip it.
Entertainment, not vocabulary WFT is the smart friend who knows the strange word for something. Not a dictionary, not a language course, not a word-of-the-day account.
Checked before it ships Definition, usage, etymology and status get verified before anything is published. A good word is worth nothing if it is wrong.
